Analytics & Insights

Why It Matters

Insight matters only when it changes what happens next. Better Health Matters helps organizations build data solutions they can trust, put insight to work inside clinical and operational workflows, and measure the performance of the care delivered, its impact on the health of populations and communities, and the cost of delivering it.

For two decades the hard part of healthcare analytics was getting an answer. AI is removing much of that friction, which makes two things more important, not less: trusted, well-governed data that people and machines read the same way, and analysts freed from producing reports to investigate why things happen and what to do about it.

The goal is not more dashboards. It is insight built into clinical and operational workflows, judged by two questions: are teams doing what the care model calls for, and is the population getting healthier?

Where We Focus

  • Data and analytics strategy, with analytics leadership as a peer to IT and clinical informatics rather than a function of IT

  • A governed data foundation: shared definitions, ownership and lineage that people and AI can trust

  • Insight in the workflow: putting analytics to work inside clinical and operational processes, not just in reports

  • Measuring what matters: care-model execution and long-term health outcomes

  • Redesigning analytics roles and teams for AI, from report production to investigation and decision support

  • Self-service insight that lets leaders question the business directly, with the discipline to turn answers into decisions

  • Payer and partner data integration, risk stratification and population identification
