Terms of Use

Effective January 1, 2026

These terms apply to your use of betterhealthmatters.org, operated by Better Health Matters, LLC (“BHM”). By using the site, you agree to them.

Information only

The content on this site shares perspectives on health policy, strategy, operations and analytics. It is general information, not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it isn’t a substitute for advice tailored to your situation. Nothing here is a recommendation about any person’s health care. If you have a medical question, talk with a qualified clinician; in an emergency, call 911.

No client relationship

Reading the site, contacting us or scheduling a call does not create a client, consulting or other professional relationship. That happens only through a written agreement signed by both parties. Please don’t send confidential information until such an agreement is in place.

Ownership

The text, photography, graphics and design of this site are owned by BHM or John Supra, or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may view and share pages for personal or internal, non-commercial use with attribution and a link back. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use requires our written permission. “Better Health Matters” and the BHM logo are our marks.

Links to other sites

We link to sites we don’t control, such as LinkedIn and Microsoft Bookings. We’re not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link isn’t an endorsement.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, scrape it in bulk, or use the contact form to send spam or unlawful content.

Disclaimer

We work to keep the content accurate and current, but the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BHM and John Supra are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.

Accessibility

Better Health Matters wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

The site runs on Wix, and some platform components, such as the cookie banner and embedded tools, are outside our direct control. We review the site as we add content and fix issues when we find them.

If anything on the site is hard to use, or you’d like content in another format, email info@betterhealthmatters.org with the page and the problem. We’ll reply within five business days and work with you to get you the information you need.
