About
Our Story
Better Health Matters began with a simple conviction: better health at a sustainable cost requires changing both how care is delivered and the economic models that pay for it. Digitizing yesterday's processes is not enough.
We have spent our careers inside the organizations doing this work: a state Medicaid agency, a large health system and its clinically integrated networks, a full-risk primary care company, and the technology partners that support them. We have seen what makes value-based care succeed and what makes it stall. Usually the difference is not the contract or the software. It is whether strategy, operations and data move together.
Better Health Matters exists to share what we learn, stay curious about what comes next, and engage with the organizations doing this work to help them go further, faster.
How We Help
Who we serve
Health systems and clinically integrated networks taking on more risk. Primary care groups and independent practices joining value-based models. Policymakers and public programs designing payment and care reforms. Technology and analytics companies building for value-based care.
How we engage
Advisory: hands-on consulting on strategy, operating models, and data and analytics capabilities.
Insights: practical perspectives, policy updates and lessons learned, shared openly for anyone curious about value-based care.
Convening: bringing providers, payers, policymakers and innovators into the same conversation.
